Working With Contrast

The days of matchy-matchy colour schemes are overdone as people look for new and interesting ways to style their home. Working with a palette of colours tend to work well. But don’t go overboard by adding every colour you can think of into the room. Stick to 4-5 colours at most so your space doesn’t look too busy. Here, we have a contrasting style mixing with natural wood and accents of golden brass. Normally a simple black and white look wouldn’t work for most people so we gave this a natural look with plants and natural wood finished furniture. While the bold statement maybe too much, the natural wood items give it that homey look making it more welcoming. The golden brass accent from the Arnaud Side Table gives this style some class.

If you love these decorative cushions, you can find both of them here. The Decorative Triangles Cushion and the Decorative Crosses Cushion looks amazing and adds more comfort to your seating areas.

Give the look a try and you may like it. Try using smaller items to work with as they are easier to replace should you want to change your style.
